Collard Greens with Bacon
Instructions
Fry the bacon in a large heavy – bottomed pot over medium heat until just done.
Add Certified SC collards, water, salt, pepper and sugar, bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and cook for 1 ½ hours.
Add Pepper Vinegar to your taste!
Ingredients
2 Large Bundles of Certified SC Collards – remove stems and chop into 2-inch squares
6 slices of Bacon
4 cups of Water
1/3 cup Sugar
1 TBSP Salt
¼ TSP White Pepper
Pepper Vinegar
